Introduction to Goat Cheese Making $75 Wednesday May 9th, 6:30-9:30pm Learn the basics of how to make homemade cheese, its a lot easier than you may think! This beginners class is a perfect introduction to cheese making basics and will provide you with all the tools you need to start making cheese at home. Learn how to make Goat Chevre, Curds, and Fromage Blanc using locally produced Goats Milk from Noble Meadow Farms.
Based in Water Valley, Dawn Kay been making cheese and raising goats for over 10 years. Join us for this fun filled evening! Community Cooking Orientation Wednesday May 23, 7:00pm Community cooking is when people come together to prepare nutritious and delicious meals on a budget. Community cooking helps you to save time and money by preparing food for your entire family. This information session will provide you with all the tools you need to start your own group. Come on out and meet other likeminded individuals, perhaps you will even form a group of your own! East Coast Dinner Party Saturday May 26, 5:30-8:30pm Join us for our East Coast Dinner Party! Hosted by and taught by Craig Westhaver, instructional chef, owner of K+C Gourmet Stuff and most importantly a maritime native. Learn how to prepare mussels, a Bouillabaisse base from clams, mussels, white fish and shrimp, and the infamous blueberry grunt. This is a demonstration class, but come on an empty stomach as there will be plenty of food and drink to go around. |
