Take a Cooking Class
Community Canning & Preserving
Join us for this fun-filled collective harvesting and processing event. The group will meet on a Tuesday evening to plan and discuss where they will harvest fruit within our own urban community and what they will make with it. On Saturday everyone will meet to pick and pluck the tasty morsels, then head to our kitchen to preserve them! This session is dependent on the season and when fruit will ripen. Cost: $25 (extra costs may apply for canning supplies)
Community Fruit Harvesting & Processing
Preserving Alberta's summer bounty isn't nearly as much fun on your own as it is with a community! This collective group will meet Tuesday evening to plan what will be preserved using locally-sourced and available fruits and vegetables. Then on Saturday everyone will meet in our kitchen to preserve them! The timing of this session is dependent on the season. Check back here for more up-to-date details.
